About
Lynese Millican has been in the mortgage industry since 1996. She started her career as a part-time bookkeeper for a major mortgage broker in Atlanta, GA and soon fell in love with the business.
Lynese says she was fortunate to be able to work with the best of the best in this industry; mentors who gave freely of their time and knowledge. This allowed her to learn every aspect of the business from loan application to closing.
Lynese has lived in Gulf Shores since 2011 Where she initially came to retire but it didn’t take long for her to miss the business.
Lynese has 2 daughters, 4 grand children, 4 dogs and 1 cat, sometimes two if you count Larry the stray.
She refers to her home in Gulf Shores as Paradise. There is always something to do, great places to eat and beautiful beaches to relax and appreciate the natural beauty of Coastal Alabama. Since moving here she has also renewed her passion for photography.
She has been a member of the Gulf Shores Lions Club since 2013 and serves as Vice President on the executive board of Miracle League of Coastal Alabama (this is a sanctioned baseball league for special needs, mentally challenged and physically handicapped children and adults). During Shrimp Fest you can find her most nights at one of the concessions. Volunteering in her community is important to her.
